Welcome to Palace Project

Our passion for advertising has shaped the reasons we’ve launched an agency; we are motivated by them and believe that brands, partners and team members will also be inspired by our way of approaching advertising effectiveness. We love the craft of advertising; the theory, the skill, the knowhow – getting under its skin to understand how it works and how best to apply it.

Our careers have coincided with a digital revolution, and we’ve grown to adopt a completely transformed media landscape.  In parallel, inspired by the duelling of Binet & Field, Sharp, Hoffman, Ritson, Ginai et al, we’ve become fascinated by the notion of advertising effectiveness and the tension between performance marketing and the role of traditional brand building.

The evidence highlights the importance of balancing long and short-term strategies, yet some brilliant studies have also shone a light on the chasm between theory and practice. We see this continuing to widen in a post-COVID, e-comm & efficiency focussed world.

We believe in advertising effectiveness and the importance of building strong, well-rounded brands. We’re making it our duty to help clients navigate, interpret, and adopt these theories for their own business case, whatever their level of investment.

We come from independent agencies and will always harbour a fierce independent spirit. We are 100% answerable to each other & our clients (eek!) and this creates a level of freedom that excites and drives us - particularly when it comes to how we work with clients and partners. We want to be our partners’ favourite collaborator; in fact we want to be the best collaborators full stop.

For clients, it doesn’t start and stop with a response to brief, it involves developing the business plan, sharing accountability for success, building internal capabilities and collaborating on training programmes.

We’ll never underplay the challenges, but by harnessing a positive mindset, we’re aiming to make Palace Project a better place to work.  When it comes to knowledge and learning, we want to be a finishing school for effectiveness led comms planning. We’ve built a training programme for all our colleagues by encompassing Marketing Week’s Mini MBA together with IPA Effectiveness learning and PPC accreditation – plus tons of room to grow personally. All members of the team will own a piece of the agency.

Finally, an Easter egg for all you who made it to the end… why Palace Project? Well, we developed this concept close to Crystal Palace & Alexandra Palace, and it had a good ring to it.

Simple. Effective.
